This site (joaquimpacer.com) is operated by David Pacer (doing business as Joaquim Pacer), sole proprietor in Austin, TX, as a portfolio demonstration of booking-flow website services for small businesses. The Native Texan Two-Step demo pages are a sample implementation featuring the Native Texan Two-Step brand for illustrative purposes.
1. Information We Collect
When you interact with forms on the Native Texan Two-Step demo (booking a class, joining a waitlist, or submitting a private lesson inquiry), we may collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional, required only if you choose SMS notifications)
- Dance background and preferences (skill level, styles, goals)
- Your notification preferences
2. How We Use Your Information
Information you submit is used exclusively to:
- Confirm bookings, waitlist signups, and related transactional updates
- Send the SMS and email notifications you opted into (see SMS Terms below)
- Operate and improve the demo site
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not use your information for third-party marketing.
3. SMS Terms and Consent
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on a booking or waitlist form, you agree to receive text messages from Native Texan Two-Step for these transactional purposes only:
- Class booking confirmations (after you book)
- 24-hour class reminders (before a class you’re booked for)
- Waitlist signup confirmations (after you join a waitlist)
- Waitlist spot-open alerts (when a spot opens in a class you waitlisted)
- Confirmation after you claim an opened waitlist spot
Messages are transactional only — we do not send marketing texts. Typical message volume is fewer than 4 messages per month per user.

4. Third-Party Services
- SMS delivery: Twilio, Inc. — messages are sent via Twilio’s carrier network.
- Email delivery: Resend — transactional emails only.
- Site hosting: DigitalOcean.
No personal information is shared with third parties beyond what is required to deliver the messages and emails you requested.
5. Data Retention
Form submissions are retained for up to 12 months to support waitlist and booking operations, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Contact below).
6. Your Choices
- Opt out of SMS: reply STOP to any message, or email us at the address below.
- Opt out of email: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
- Access or delete your data: email the address below and we will respond within 14 days.
7. Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the most recent update.
